Registrations & Refunds

We understand that plans and circumstances can change after registering for a training. Because EFT Tampa Bay makes financial commitments to trainers, venues, catering, and other providers based on enrollment, we have established the following policy. We will make every effort to be fair, flexible, and responsive while applying these guidelines consistently.

• Cancellation received 30 or more calendar days before the training: The registration fee will be refunded in full.

• Cancellation received 15–29 calendar days before the training: 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.

• Cancellation received fewer than 15 calendar days before the training: Registration fees are generally nonrefundable.

No-shows and partial attendance: We are unable to provide refunds or prorated credits for no-shows or partial attendance. Participants must meet the training’s attendance requirements to receive continuing education credit.

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email. The date the request is received will determine the applicable refund. Approved refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

Registration Transfers

If a participant is unable to attend, they may request to transfer their registration to another qualified individual at no additional charge. The request must be received at least five business days before the training. Transfers are subject to approval and any eligibility requirements associated with the training.

Registration fees may not be transferred to a future training unless EFT Tampa Bay specifically authorizes the transfer.

Waiting List

When a waiting list is available, EFT Tampa Bay may be able to offer the open seat to another participant. If the seat is filled, we will prioritize issuing a full refund, regardless of when the cancellation request is received. A waiting-list refund is subject to confirmation that the seat has been filled.

Exceptional Circumstances

We recognize that unexpected and difficult circumstances sometimes arise. EFT Tampa Bay may consider documented medical emergencies, deaths in the immediate family, or other extraordinary circumstances on an individual basis. Any exception is discretionary and is not guaranteed, but participants are encouraged to contact EFT Tampa Bay or the Board directly so that their situation can be considered.

Cancellation or Rescheduling by EFT Tampa Bay

If EFT Tampa Bay cancels the training, participants may choose either:

​

• A full refund of the registration fee; or

• A credit toward a rescheduled training or another EFT Tampa Bay event.

​

If the training is rescheduled, registrations will automatically transfer to the new date. Participants who cannot attend the rescheduled date may request a full refund within the period specified in the rescheduling notice.

​

EFT Tampa Bay is not responsible for airfare, lodging, transportation, lost income, or other expenses incurred by participants. Participants are encouraged to make refundable travel arrangements or purchase travel insurance.

By registering for the training, the participant acknowledges and agrees to this refund policy.
